Experience

Jacqui Grové is a seasoned professional with more than 23 years’ experience spanning multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on commercial legal counsel, governance, and enterprise risk management (ERM). Over the course of her career, she has held executive, senior management, and advisory positions across diverse sectors, ranging from large multi-national listed companies to non-profit entities, professional bodies, as well as private practice.

In these roles, Jacqui has concentrated on shaping, simplifying, and embedding governance best practices, policies, and strategies to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and enable effective business outcomes.

She currently serves as Group Company Secretary and a member of the executive team at SA Corporate Real Estate Limited (SA Corporate), a mid-cap JSE-listed REIT.

Beyond her statutory duties, she is responsible for designing and implementing governance, compliance, and ERM frameworks that enable business performance, while also providing expert support on complex transactions and corporate actions.

Jacqui is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, a Chartered Secretary, a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa, and a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa.

Based in Gauteng, she enjoys exploring South Africa’s nature reserves, playing various racket sports, and has achieved Distinguished Marksman status in pistol shooting.

He also teaches Entrepreneurship on postgraduate level.
